AWID Members

"I am so happy to be a member and I feel proud to hold this badge and declare the world that I do care for my fellow beings and their rights. It is a prestige for me to receive this on the auspicious day of International Day for Violence against Women. I believe in women-power and empowering women to become catalyst[s] in the social reforms to procure a space for them in every field.

Thank you for giving me an opportunity to be a part of this noble endeavour."

—DR. Lekha G, Director, Centre for Research & Development (CRD), Tamil Nadu, India
